Oft Used Conventions in Bike Games

The idea behind these games are relatively straight forward; you’re either hopping on a bike, and you’re racing through a given course, or you’re doing some sort of action and objective type thing about the bike, but again, through a course. And that’s the a common feature, really, with these Bike Games. You’re not going to find a situation where in the character needs to get off his bike and start walking around; you might find that the character needs to get off his bike, in order to repair the bike, and there are certainly games out there that are themed after and around that whole idea of an activity. But you’re not going to see the character be introduced, and then have the character ride up in his bike, only to leave it somewhere close to the front door of a building, only to have the rest of the story transpire on foot.
